“I come from a land, where the sea captivates the sun…”

On Tuesday, May 30th 2017, we are celebrating the Canary Islands´ Day, a holiday in the Archipelago. In the Canary Islands, we celebrate this day in a special way with cultural, folkloric, sporting and social events that are characteristic of our region and seal our identity. During your stay at our Canarian hotels, you will have the chance to get to know everything that makes us unique. In every corner you will dance to the tune of the Canarian “isa” (typical dancing and singing), you'll get to know the beautiful traditional costumes and handcraft items, try the flavors of our traditional food and pastries, and discover the meaning of some Canarian “pintadera” (typical stamp used a symbol).

Doubtlessly, you are lucky to experience and live this day with us. We invite you to learn more about our land, which is extraordinary for its unique climate, welcoming people and its stunning landscapes that reflect the warmth and the beauty of each of the seven islands. Today, we are finishing this blog-post with a piece of the song called “Soy de aquí” (i.e. I am from here) from our admired musician and timple player Benito Cabrera, which perfectly defines how we feel.
