Fitur, more international than ever: intense journeys at the fair that broke records this year
Once again, we had the chance to participate with our own stand at Fitur, Europe´s most important international tourism fair. On its 38th edition, the fair took place in Madrid from January 17th to 21st 2018. And, more international than ever, it has broken records. Fitur welcomed over 250.000 participants, the highest figure of its historical series. Once more, Hoteles THe benefits from a unique experience and an intense networking at this global meeting point.
Hoteles THe was present with an own stand placed in the Canary Island´s exhibition hall. We showed our establishments in the Canary Islands, Cape Verde and Cadiz and welcomed tourism professionals and people interested in our hotel chain during the journeys open to the public. Doubtlessly, these were intense journeys of bilateral meetings and activities at our stand. Among others, our stand disposed of a desk with information material. To get to know our hotel establishments dynamically, the stand visitors could get information through flyer, TV, tablets and 3D glasses that allowed them to enjoy the hotel spaces in three dimensions. Those visitors who joined our Club THe entered the raffle for winning stays at our hotels.
For Hoteles THe, participating at Fitur is always an excellent opportunity to analyze and study the present in this sector, benefit from an intense networking and go for innovation. This way, we ensure our adjustment to market trends to achieve our most important aim: to offer incredible experiences to our customers under the mark of a sustainable tourism. However, our presence at Fitur has been more fruitful, if possible, because this year the fair has reached the best numbers of its historical series: over 140.000 professionals from all over the world, over 10.000 companies from 165 countries and 65.000 m2 of exhibition area. In all, the fair welcomed 251.000 participants, with an increase of 2.5% in relation to last year. This way, Fitur consolidates as a leader in the international tourism business sector.
