Corralejo under the sea
Corralejo's coast, in the North of the island of Fuerteventura, is a privileged place for diving. It is an area full of delightful clear water beaches and spectacular underwater volcanic craters, where you can find a wide variety of the Canary Islands fauna. There are more than 20 different spots to dive on this shore. Almost all of them are situated between Corralejo and the Natural Park of Lobos (Parque Natural de la Isla de Lobos).
It is an unexplored coast with white-sand-seabeds and lava shoals that create a spectacular underwater landscape. There is usually a very good visibility.
You just have to visit one of the three specialized centers of the harbour - "Dive Center Corralejo", "Punta Amanay" and "Abyss Fuerteventura". Each of them has a professional team that will offer you comfort and guarantee, so that you can practice this incredible experience safely.
Every year the International Festival of the Sea and underwater Photography "Fimarsub Corralejo-Isla de Lobos" takes place- a contest related to diving and underwater photography.
