Jandía: discover the Veril de Morro Jable
Jandía beaches, at the South of Fuerteventura, are considered the best beaches in Europe. Although most of its seabeds are sandy, there are some diving spots whose visit is a must. Above all, you shall not miss the best one: "el Veril de Morro Jable", which has a key place among the most prominent of the Canary Islands because you will enjoy the high number of groupers from the very first moment. It is an underwater wall whose top is situated at 20 meters and in which there are a lot of typical species of this area of the Atlantic Ocean. You can also see many trumpetfish, moray eels, barracudas, greater amberjacks, chuchos (the typical Canarian ray) and, if we are lucky, the typical shark of the archipelago will appear: the angel fish.
The other diving spots of the island are less spectacular and they are not very vivid in general.
The South of the island is an important touristic place due to its astonishing beaches and you will find that most hotels have their own diving centre. There are a lot of them along this shore: "Jandíasub", "Robinson Club", "Bucearte", "Jandía Divers" and "Acuarios Jandía".
