Caletón: the whitest sand
Órzola beaches, known as “Caletones”, surprise all those who see them for the first time for its exotic and unusual landscape.
They have sand so white that it seems snow. This effect is greatly enhanced by the contrast with the black volcanic rocks that shelter those caletones.
It is a truly unique panorama, where the sea first breaks against the coast to then gently break these small cosy and beautiful beaches.
The "Caletón blanco" has become a family place where people from the nearby villages go, especially in the summer.
Due to its strategic location in Órzola, the number of restaurants near the pier serving very good fish and local seafood continues to grow.
